The Journal of Environmental and Engineering Geophysics (JEEG) is the official journal of the Environmental and Engineering Geophysical Society (EEGS). Since its first issue in 1995, JEEG has provided articles that address topics of interest on the application of geophysics to the environmental and engineering fields. JEEG is unique in that it reaches beyond the traditional geophysicist to a diverse group, including practitioners in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, hydrogeology, and mining engineering. Special topic issues are published periodically. JEEG is a peer-reviewed journal published quarterly and distributed via mail to the EEGS membership and academic libraries.

The JEEG welcomes the submission of manuscripts documenting new geophysical developments, including ones that review recent developments in a specific area, new geophysical methods, sensor and instrument design, and signal processing techniques. Manuscripts describing the application of geophysics to non-traditional fields and novel case studies are also encouraged.

Subject Coverage
Airborne geophysical applications, borehole geophysics, contaminant mapping, electrical and electromagnetic methods, engineering and environmental geophysics, gravity exploration methods, glacial and frozen materials investigations, ground penetrating radar, hydrogeological studies, magnetic exploration methods, seismic data acquisition and analysis, soils mapping and characterization, unexploded ordnance.
